solid cast iron, almost perfect

hey everyone, so i was looking for a new cast iron grill pan and victoria cookware kept popping up. i snagged one with a decent coupon code, although i couldn't combine it with the sale price, which is pretty standard i guess. the pan itself is great, super even heating and that pre-seasoning is actually useful. one small thing, it took a little longer to ship than i expected, but nothing major. i've heard lodge and le creuset are the gold standard, but for the price, victoria is a strong contender. does anyone know if they offer a lifetime warranty like some of the other cast iron brands?

Solid grill pan, slow delivery

I bought the Cast Iron Grill Pan. It's a good heavy pan, works great on the stove for searing steaks. The pre-seasoning was decent, saved me some work. My only real gripe was the shipping time. It took 7 days to get here in California, which felt a bit slow. Customer service was responsive when I asked for an update, but still, a little wait. Overall, a quality product for the price, just be prepared to wait a bit.

Good skillet, fast shipping

Got the 12-Inch Cast Iron Skillet. It came quick, took about 4 days. Cooked some eggs, worked well. No issues. Pre-seasoned was nice.

Great value on Dutch Oven

I was looking for a good Cast Iron Dutch Oven and saw Victoria Cookware had a sale. The price was really good compared to other brands I checked. I got free shipping too since my order was over $50. It feels solid and cooked my stew perfectly. Happy with the purchase, felt like I got a deal.

Love my new tortilla press

So I finally got a Tortilla Press from here, and it's awesome. I've been wanting one for ages. It's super sturdy and making fresh tortillas is way easier than I thought. The kids even had fun helping out. It was pre-seasoned so I didn't have to mess with that. Definitely happy I got it.

How are the returns if I get a Dutch oven and it's not quite what I expected? Easy to send back?

J Julia 3 months ago
I returned a griddle once, no hassle. Just follow their instructions on the site.

Yeah, I think you just start the process online and they give you a shipping label. Pretty straightforward.

Anyone know how these compare to Lodge? Trying to decide between a Victoria 12-inch and a Lodge one.

J James Z. 3 months ago
I have both, and Victoria feels a little smoother right out of the box. Heat retention is great on both though.

Victoria is generally considered a step up, especially if you care about the pre-seasoning and finish. Lodge is good for the price, but Victoria feels more premium.

Can you use more than one discount code? I have a 15% off new customer one and saw another deal for free shipping.

I Ivy Walsh 2 months ago
Nah, they usually only let you use one code per order. Had that problem before.

From what I remember, you can't stack them. Gotta pick the best one for your cart.

Are their skillets actually pre-seasoned well? Or do I need to do a full seasoning routine right out of the box?

R Raj Patel 2 months ago
Mine was good to go! Just a quick wash and a light oiling, then cooked with it. No issues.

They say it's pre-seasoned with flaxseed oil I think? Mine was decent, but I always do another quick round just to be safe with any new cast iron.

Is the 15% off first order deal always active or does it come and go? Wanna wait for Black Friday but don't want to miss it.

B Ben Whitfield 2 months ago
That 15% off for signing up is pretty much always there for new emails, so don't sweat it.

It's a standard thing for new customers. Black Friday will probably be a bigger site-wide discount anyway, so the 15% off isn't usually the best deal then.
